He was predeceased by: his parents, Fanny Earnhardt Suther and Edgar L. Suther; his wife Martha Isenhour Suther; and his siblings, Rush Suther, Fred Suther, Ray Suther, Trim Suther, Robert Suther, Evelyn Shinn and Ruby Goodman.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce S. Suther of Concord, Nancy Thomason of Concord and Ryan Suther (Jennifer) of St. Louis, MO.; his grandsons, Randy Thomason Jr., Duane Burris (Kristin) and Hank Burris-Broin (Ayrick Broin-Burris); and his great grandchildren, Abigail, Dylan, Eli, Rylee, Alex, Jeremiah and Jaymon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Gilead Reformed Church, 2400 Old Salisbury-Concord Road, Concord, NC 28025.
