She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Silas Gant and Luna Martha Gant; her former husband Reverend Everett McDonald; her son Dennis McDonald; and her husband Bill Hinson.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Mandy Gaskins (Jamie) of Kannapolis, April Carroll (Josh) of Nolensville and Heather McDonald of Albemarle. She is also survived by her 5 great grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.
