He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Hopkins Maudlin; his sons, Doug Mauldin, Jr. and Dean Mauldin (Kathy) of Snellville, GA; his adoptive son Mike Fleming of Concord; his granddaughters, Haley Mauldin, Jordan Smith, Shannan Jackson, Amanda Oden and Lindsay Oden; his great grandchildren, Audrie and Kayla; and his siblings, Phyllis Heald (Jim) of Harrisburg and Doyle Mauldin (Linda) of China Grove.
