He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Sample and Minnie Lee Brown Sample; and his siblings, Classie Thomas and Danny Sample. He is survived by: his wife Delois Sample; his sons, Darwin Sample (Gladys) and Demetrius Singleton (Mae); his grandchildren, Sydney Marie, Madelyn, Kennedi, Neala and Shanese; his great grandchildren, Athena, Casius, Ayden and Sekani; and his sister Willie Mae Polk. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins along with his mother-in law, sisters-in law, and brother- in law.
