She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl A. Love and Lee Geneva Love; her husband Hugh J Sossoman; her son Danny Hugh Sossoman; and her siblings, Irene Page Moore, Gatha Allmond, Ola-May Smith Gainey and Carl Allen Love.

She is survived by: her daughter Sheliah (Patrick Wood); her grandchildren, Jennifer Foster (Sean Baxter), Jason (Amanda Sossoman) and Charity (Matt Harris); her great grandchildren, Brandon Harris, Mason Harris and Marshall Harris; her sisters, Vivian (John Snyder) and Geraldine Crisco (late James); and also Tonya Sechler Sossoman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
