He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton J. Brewbaker and Beverley Sharpe Brewbaker. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Brewbaker; his children, Alison Brewbaker, Brent Brewbaker (Cindy) and Aaron Brewbaker (Laura); and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Goforth, Preston Goforth, Vayda Brewbaker and Ayla Brewbaker.

Memorials may be made to the Jeff Gordon Levine Children's Hospital in Concord.

“I am saddened to hear that my longtime friend, Irvin Brewbaker passed away. I don't want to believe it. Irvin was such a vibrant, energetic, loyal friend. I am so happy that I selected, when as the Baseball Commissioner of WCWAA, Irvin Brewbaker to serve as the ongoing coach of the transitioning 13 yr. old baseball players. His knowledge, attitude, and continuity proved to be invaluable in those kids lives. I will miss my friend. Peace to the family. "Go rest high on that mountain"”
