He is survived by: his significant other Judy Jackson; his daughters, Jamie Lynn Scercy (Scott Scercy) and Mattie Jackson Tennent (Chris Tennent); his brothers, Michael Jackson of Kannapolis and Lonnie R. Jackson of Cheraw; his grandchildren, Andrea Burris (Daniel Burris), Landon Scercy (Kyndal), Jackson Scercy (Abby), Ryan Tennent (Anjelina) and Madison Tennent (Koy); and his great grandchild Waylon Kane Burris.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cabarrus Funeral & Cemetery (3892 NC-73, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM.
