He is survived by: his wife Gayle (Krayer); his siblings, Ernest W. Spencer of Easley, SC and Elizabeth Spencer of Winter Springs; his sons, Craig, Adam Spencer of Meriden, DeWayne of Concord, VT, Richard and Erin of Concord, NC.; and his stepdaughters, Catherine Wagner of White Oaks, NC, Cheryl Mize and Becky Rushing of Concord, NC.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren & great-great grandchildren.
