He was predeceased by: his father James Kenneth Nix Sr.; and his son Michael Nix. He is survived by: his mother Sara Gladys Argo (Harold Argo); his wife Brenda Jean Nix; his children, James Kevin Nix and Karen Dejong; and his siblings, Ty Hardister, Toren Nix, Barry Nix and Tanna Nix.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home (460 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). The military honors will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
