It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Ayers (Concord, North Carolina), born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2019, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Vance Holland and Nellie Brannock Holland. She is survived by: her children, Valerie Lassiter (Chris) of Raleigh, Lauren Simpson (Miles) of Concord and Steve Ayers, Jr. (Rebekah) of Macon, GA; her grandchildren, Sophie, Brendan Lassiter, Ava, Miles Simpson, Luke and Silas Ayers; and her brother Michael Holland of Asheville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McGill Baptist Church, 5300 Poplar Tent Rd., Concord, NC 28027.
