She is survived by: her husband Robert T Dixon of Concord; her son Terry L Bame of Statesville; her grandchildren, Christopher H Bame (Brynn) of Concord and Laura B Messenger (Brian) of China Grove; her great grandchildren, Emma Messenger and Carson Messenger; her nieces, Tammy Gentle of Mount Pleasant, Donna Walls and Debbie Efird of Kannapolis; and her stepson Ted H Dixon (Elspeth).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Landis, NC or to any 'no-kill' animal sanctuary.
