We bid farewell to Janie Williams of Concord, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 16, 2025 at the age of 78. Janie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Swink and Lila Hutchinson Swink; her husband James Franklin Williams, Sr. (Doc); her son Baby James Franklin Williams, Jr.; and her brothers, Raymond Swink, Daniel Swink and Bristal Swink.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Joan Menius of Concord and Ruby Williford of Spencer; and her niece Joyce Honeycutt (Roger) of Concord. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM and on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Salem United Methodist Church (169 Salem Church Rd, Mocksville, NC 27028). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery (169 Salem Church Rd, Mocksville, NC 27028).
