She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Moats and Edna Hart Moats. She is survived by: her husband Everette Jay Green; her son Jay Edgar Dorton (Jana) of Myrtle Beach, SC; her granddaughter Addie; and her siblings, Beverly Trent of Texas and Gene Moats of Texas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Eastside Missionary Baptist Church (199 Elgin Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jerri's honor to Eastside Missionary Baptist Church, 199 Elgin Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025, a place of faith and fellowship she held dear.
