He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Hathcock and Sadie Hathcock; and his siblings, Jimmy E. Hathcock and Ruby Weathersbee. He is survived by: his daughter Leslie Sarah Lamm (James I. Reason); his wife Elaine Parrish Hathcock; his grandchildren, Nicole Reason, Janson Reason, Reagan Reason, Cameron Reason, Josey Reason, Job Reason and Kelsea Reason; his sister Margaret Garmon; and his nieces and nephews, Lesley Smith, Josh Smith, Michael Bailey and Megan Hardy.
