She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Authur Wayne Benton and Lena Jordan Cochran; her grandparents, Dock, Mary Jordan, AC and Jessie Benton Black; her husband Robert Smith; her sons, Cameron DeRon and Christian Dashawn Smith; her mother-in-law Betty Johnson; her siblings, Jamatrice "Big" Parks, Alvin Patton and Kevin Willoughby (Regina); and her aunt Jean. She was also cherished by six aunts, five uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
