He was predeceased by: his father Willie Cranfield. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Laney Cranfield; his sons, Jimmie Cranfield, Jr. (Angela) of Kannapolis, Steve Hicks (Melissa) of Monroe and Scott Hicks (Kimberly) of Mint Hill; and his siblings, Polly Miller, Laureen Macemore and Billy Cranfield. He is also survived by Five Grandchildren.
