He was predeceased by: his father James Pinkney "J. P."; his daughter Alisha Dawn Morrison; and his sister Peggy Louise Morrison. He is survived by: his wife Linda Penninger Morrison; his children, Jay Morrison (Karen), Mike Morrison (Tracy) and Lindsay Hartman (Greg); his grandchildren, Katie, Jake, Ava, Michael, Ayden Morrison, Madison, Patrick and Sadie Hartman; and his siblings, Barbara Myers (Larry), Carol Barbee and Gary Morrison (Angie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to Kerr Memorial Baptist Church, 25 Highway 49 South, Concord, NC 28025, or a charity of your choice.
