With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan C. Lowder of Concord, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan left this world on April 24, 2026 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyle Langford and Madge Langford; and her sister Glenda Reder (Jim). She is survived by: her husband Wade Lowder; her children, Jeff Lowder (Heidi) of Camden, Chris Lowder (Stephanie) of Concord and Erika Beattie (John); her grandchildren, Davis Richards, Hayley Lowder, Harrison Lowder and Maggie Lowder; and her brothers, Jimmy Langford (Sandra) and David Langford. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Kannapolis, NC 28083).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dr. Chris Lowder Scholarship Fund in memory of Joan Lowder.
