He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Houston Whittington; and his sister Tammy Hornbeak. He is survived by: his children, Christina W. Funderburk (Richard) of Mt. Pleasant and Aaron Whittington of Concord; his grandchildren, Kayla Woods, Tyler Woods (Ashlyn), Braxton Woods, Samuel Whittington and Kennedy Whittington; his great grandchild Daisy Woods; and his siblings, Dwana Moose and Tony Whittington. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
