He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Brotherton Blanton and Joseph Herbert Blanton; and his brother Michael Blanton. He is survived by: his sons, Todd (Lisa) and Ryan (Melanie); his close friend Alice Weaver; his grandchildren, Kaia Sol, Vivian and Will; and his siblings, Gregg (Ana) and Marilyn Lane (Jeff). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and one great-nephew.
