Josephine Marinaro Long Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2026, Josephine Marinaro Long (Concord, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosario Salvatore Marinaro (Ross) and Concetina Speranza Marinaro (Connie); and her siblings, Connie Barbara Ludwig, Vincent Marinaro (Vinnie) and Ross Marinaro.

She is survived by: her husband Russell Long; her son Nicholas Long (Sheila Duffy-Long) of Columbus, OH; her grandsons, Alex and Andrew Long of Columbus, OH; her son Matthew Long (Katie Palmer) of Columbia, MO; her sisters, Susan Rinaldi of Rochester, NY and Mary Verellen (Patrick Verellen); and her sisters-in-law, Carol Marinaro of Rochester, NY and Russlene Waukechon (John Waukechon). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
