She was predeceased by: her parents, Dillard G. Poplin and Mary Ann Barr Poplin; and her husband Bobby Day. She is survived by: her siblings, Lou Ann P. Irvin (Tommy), Mark Poplin (Nancy) and Steve Poplin (Marybeth); her niece Traci Burden (Jerry); her nephews, Ben Allen (Victoria), Derek Irvin (Sara), Greer Poplin (Hailey), Arron Poplin and Daniel Poplin (Katana); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Madison Burden, Sarah Burden, Vivian Allen, Noah Irvin, Greyson Irvin and Beckham Allen; and her pet Leroy. She is also survived by numerous cousins and other extended family.
In memory of Julie and her love for animals, the family wishes for donations to be made to Humane Society of Concord and Greater Cabarrus County in lieu of flowers.
