She was predeceased by: her parents, Lalla Lee and David Ray Nimocks; her husband Howard Thomas Overby, Sr.; her brother David Ray Nimocks, Jr. of Fayetteville; and her nephew David Ray Nimocks, III.
She is survived by: her son Howard Thomas Overby, Jr. (Mary Catherine Payne); her grandchildren, Currie Overby Renwick (David Alistair Renwick), D. C., Sally Overby Langford (Thomas Anderson Langford, III), Lalla Lee Renwick Marquez (Diego), Ann Green Langford Duncan (Nathan), Charles Maclean Renwick (Lauren), Sarah Overby Langford Stephens (Brad), Mairi Overby Renwick, Howard Thomas Overby, III, Elizabeth Fuller Overby Brusie (Tyler) and Lucius Payne Overby; her nieces, Mary Flagg Haugh (James), Elisabeth Holt Gooch (Emmett) and Lalla Lucius Harley (Donald); Lynne Callahan Nimocks and Ruth Marie Tibbetts Morgan. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
