He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rucker, Sr. and Beatrice Witherspoon Rucker; his son Marcus Rucker; and his siblings, Paris Rucker, Timothy Rucker, George Rucker, Sr. and Ira Rucker.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn D. Rucker; his daughters, Sharon Griffin (Ronde) of Rock Hill, SC, Roxanne Griffin (Derrick) of Kannapolis, NC and Krishna Fox (Quincy) of Kannapolis, NC; his grandsons, Kenneth McDaniel, III and Derrick Hinson, Jr. (Ashon); his brother John Rucker (Denise) of Kannapolis, NC; and his sister-in-law Diedra Rucker of Kannapolis, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Due to Covid-19, masks are appreciated if worn in all services.
