With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leola Poe Smith of Concord, North Carolina, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on January 22, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Floyd Poe and Lillie Mae Wilburn Poe; her husband Howard Smith; her son Michael Smith; her grandson Buddy Cline; and her daughter-in-law Elaine Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Smith of Mount Pleasant and Tondra Scott of Calabash; her caregivers, John and Alisa Hatley; and her granddaughter Whitney Martinez. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren.
