He was predeceased by: his parents, George Stokes and Eva Stokes; and his brothers, George, William and Harold Stokes.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Ellen Stokes of Concord, NC; his son Ricky Wayne Stokes; his daughter-in-law Karina Textor-Stokes; his granddaughters, Sabrina Stokes and Nicki Stokes; his daughter Traci Lynn Ballard of Concord, NC; his son-in-law Chad Ballard of Concord, NC; his grandsons, Noah Ballard and Matthew Ballard; and his sisters, Darlene Cullnan and Shirley Hammond.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Home of Len and Judy Stokes.
His life reflected the words of 1 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful."No memorials or donations accepted in exchange; say a prayer, play a game of poker, go fishing, watch a ball game or chill out and watch an old western in his honor.
