Leva J. Valentine Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leva J. Valentine of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on May 28, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Eugene Echols Keener; her daughter Kelly Jean Valentine; her granddaughter Olivia Jean Epley; and her siblings, Denzil Keener, Ray Keener and Patricia Sue Ayers.
She is survived by: her children, Paige Ballas (Dennis) of Concord, NC, Shawn Harpel (Abbie) of Locust Grove, Virginia and Valerie Leigh Browning of Beckley; her brother Carson Dana Keener of Whiting; and her grandchildren, Aisha, Adam, Jessie, Michael, Faith and Autumn.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Beckley Peace Chapel (1901 S Kanawha St, Beckley, WV 25801). A memorial service was held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel (1901 S Kanawha St, Beckley, WV 25801).
