It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Randall Waggoner of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilly Mae Holloway Parker and Lloyd Willis Waggoner; and his son Little David. He is survived by: his wife Diane Waggoner; his children, Julie McMillian (Sandy), Tonya Clark, Angela Cairthers, Randi Davis and Michael Waggoner; his stepdaughter Julia Pullum; and his siblings, Marilyn Yates (Rowdy Yates), Jill Sullivan (Barry Sullivan), Jeff Waggoner and David Waggoner. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sharon Free Will Baptist Church (410 Reese St, Gastonia, NC 28056). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
