With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lynda Burris Howington (Concord, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 13, 2025 at the age of 47. She was predeceased by: her father Stewart W. Burris; and her brother Ronald W. Burris (Ronnie). She is survived by: her mother Jean H. Hood; her children, Brittanie L. Simpson (Blake), Daniel E. Burris (Andrea), Adam T. Leonard and Christopher W. Leonard (Ashley); her stepchildren, Angel Howington and Steven Howington Jr.; her grandchildren, Jahkob, Riley, Waylon and Kimberly; her siblings, Jeff W. Burris (Jennifer), Kevin R. Burris (Amelia) and Kristi L. Singleton; her boyfriend Robert Adair (Bobby); and her boyfriend's daughter Lily. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
