She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Smith and Louise Cochran Smith; and her brothers, Louis Smith and H. M. Smith. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Johnny "Buck" Canup; her children, Joyce Ann Williamson, Kathy Jo Eury and Ronald Wayne Canup; and her sister Jatana Tarlton. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
