It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Lee Jackson Sr. of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on July 4, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Jackson and Lena Belle Jones Johnson; and his sister Doris Tyler. He is survived by: his wife Velma Lawing Jackson; his daughter Gina Jackson of Concord; his stepdaughters, Allison Marlowe of Concord and Bridget Mobley of Asbury Park, NJ; his sons, Marvin Lee Jackson, Jr. of Keansburg, NJ and Marlin Jackson of Everette, WA; his siblings, Hattie Perry of Durham, NC and Louis Jackson of Dayton, OH; and his cousin Barbara Sparger of Siler City, NC. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one great great-grandchild.
