She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph L. Austin and Ruth Houser Austin; and her husband Olin E. Brooks. She is survived by: her sons, Mark Brooks of Rockwell and Michael Brooks (Pam) of Rockwell; her brother Ralph L. Austin (Lenny); her grandchildren, Jocelyn Stacy (Phillip), John Brooks (Jill), Nathan Brooks (Katie) and Christa Brooks; and her great grandchildren, Cole, Caleb, Caden, Marshall, Sonora, Landyn, Josie, Maggie and Oliver.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Glorieta Baptist Church (4912 NC-73, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at the Carolina Memorial Park (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
