She was predeceased by: her parents, William Joseph May and Sarah Jane Glascock May; her stepmother Joyce May; and her significant other Edgar Royo. She is survived by: her son Trey Peterson (Ericka Beam); her granddaughters, Emma and Ella Peterson; and her sister Beth Shoaf (Robert).
A burial will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (2712 N Main St, South Boston, VA 24592).
