We announce the death of Matilda Misenheimer Heintz (Concord, North Carolina), who passed away on August 9, 2026, at the age of 84. Matilda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Misenheimer and Eula Almond Misenheimer; her brother Giles Misenheimer; and her granddaughter Aurora. She is survived by: her husband Larry Heintz; her children, Selwyn Shaw (Neill) and Jeff Heintz; her grandchildren, John Heintz (Madison), Jacob Heintz, Bethany Harner (Austin) and Benjamin Shaw; and her brother Aaron Misenheimer (Patsy). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
