It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Arnold Hatley of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on May 4, 2024, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Arnold, Willie Hatley, Olin "Mutt" Helms, Betty Stallings and Leola Smith.

He is survived by : his parents, John Hampton Hatley and Alisa Helms Hatley; his siblings, Laura, Craig Freeman, John, Jessica Hatley and Whitney Hatley-Martinez; and his nieces, Peyton, Jordan, Kinslee, Reagan, Eden and Violet.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home - Concord (460 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). A memorial service was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery.
