He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Alec Snuggs and Vada Viola Smith Snuggs; and his sisters, Elsie Greene, Trudie Griffin and Broyce Moose.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Gail Snuggs of Concord, NC; his children, John Rowland Snuggs (Jana) of Concord, NC and Paula Dulin (Jeff) of Indian Trail, NC; and his grandchildren, Sarah Snuggs, Henry Harrison Snuggs, Kelly Dulin, Ben Dulin and Lindsey Dulin.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Parkwood Baptist Church missions projects.
