He was predeceased by: his parents, William Haynie Barnhardt (Willie) and Edna A. Christenbury Barnhardt; and his brother Gerald Barnhardt. He is survived by: his wife Diane Barnhardt; his daughter Sandie B. Rumfelt (Benny Rumfelt); his brother-in-law Bobby Perry; his sibling's children, JoAnn, Kim and Eddie; and also Derek Rumfelt.
