He was predeceased by: his mother Ruby Harris Mauldin. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Hendrix Mauldin of Concord, NC; his children, Michael Mauldin, Jr., Mason and Jennifer Mauldin (Philip Alexander); his grandchild Shyann Brafford; his daughter Amy Bolton (Kenny); his grandchild Kendall; his daughter Susan Pruitt (Roy); and his grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, Tabitha and RJ. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; and his beloved "Momma" cat.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Mike's mom to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Ln., Kannapolis, NC 28081; or the Muscular Dystrophy Association in honor of his grandson.
