She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Richard Holdbrooks and Isabelle Virginia Mackin; her husband John H. Edmond Jr.; her children, Penola D. Wilks, Ann C. Wilkerson and John C. Edmond; and her siblings, Willie Holdbrooks, Gloria J. Miller, Linda K. Allen and Shirnette I. Mackin.
She is survived by: her sons, Russell L. Edmond and Matthew A. Edmond; her children-in-law, Renita Edmond, Anquonette Edmond and Scottie Wilkerson; her siblings, James Mackin, Bobby Mackin, Calvin Mackin, Micheal Cannady (Inez) and Reba Mackin; and her sister-in-law Nellie Miller (Coy). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
