She is survived by: her parents, Willie Simms of Chicago, IL and April Franklin; her son Nasir Ali Franklin; and her siblings, Akeya Wallace of Concord, NC, Justin Johnson of Concord, NC and Jared Simms of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
