She was predeceased by: her parents, James Howard Dancy and Kathleen Dancy; her husband Bobby Parks Cook; her daughter Kimberly F. Kelly; her brother Donald Dancy; and her niece Kathy Dancy.

She is survived by: her son Brian Cook (Tonya) of Concord; her son-in-law Barry Kelly; her sister-in-law Jean Dancy; and her niece Kelly Dancy of Kannapolis. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
