Though Oley Lee may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his parents, Oley Lee Cox Jr. of Supply, NC and Carolyn Anne Jones Shenberger of Huntersville, NC.; his pets, Precious, Jaxon and Bolt; his wife Mary Anne Crisco Cox; and his siblings, Pam Cox Caldwell (Bill) of Mooresville, Carroll Cox (Linda) of Harrisburg and Sandy Cox Travis (Ben) of Huntersville. He is also survived by his extended family, many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sam F. Keziah American Legion Post 535 (6112 Concord Hwy, Unionville, NC 28110). Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
