With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel Overcash of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on July 6, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrill Lee McCorkle and Joanna Clementine McCombs McCorkle; and her siblings, J. D. McCorkle, Merrill McCorkle and Alice Baucom.

She is survived by: her husband Bennett Frank Overcash; her sons, Bennett Keith Overcash (Jane) of Raleigh and Marshall Dale Overcash (Robin) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Kevin Overcash (Elizabeth), Brad Overcash, Ashley Hardee (Tanner) and Brooke Carter (Trevor); and her great grandchildren, Norah Overcash, Meredith Overcash, Bennett Hardee and Bryson Hardee.

The family welcomes flowers, but for those who prefer, memorials may be made to Gilwood Presbyterian Church, 2993 Odell School Rd., Concord, NC 28027.
