He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Homer Ray and Samantha Olene Brantley Starnes; his wife Anita Thomas Starnes; his children, Kimberly E. Starnes (Trey Wyatt) of Concord, Phillip E. Starnes (Jessica) of Concord and Randy Lee Starnes Jr. of Greensboro; his siblings, Debbie S. Cook (Richard) of Kannapolis and Jerry Ray Starnes (Frances) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Raeann, Austin (Taylor), Lukas, Brayden, Cameron, Hunter, Evan and Abigail; and his great grandchild Avery.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkinson Funeral Home (100 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 1:15 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
