He is survived by: his daughters, Le'aira Hames of Charlotte, NC and Brittany Mason of Greensboro, NC; and his siblings, Greg Hames (Katrina), Lester Hall, Sheldon Hames Jr., Frances Mingo, Sandy Rice (Randy) and Wendy Cauthen (Pal). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
