He is survived by: his wife Susan Miller Blackman; his children, David Blackman (Jaclyn) and Julia Whitney; his grandsons, Thomas Whitney, Jacob Blackman and Joshua Blackman (Rebecca); his sister Sylvia Davis; and his mother-in-law Doris Miller.
