He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ervin, Sr. and Mamie Irene Dayvault Ervin. He is survived by: his wife Jillian Duarte Ervin of Concord; his son Robert L. Ervin III (Stephanie) of Concord; his grandson Phoenix Ervin; his brothers, John Ervin (Kathleen) of Concord and Don Ervin (Catherine) of Kannapolis; and his nieces and nephews, Amy Lynn Ervin (Rodney Power), Amber Nicole Ervin-Ball (Chris) of Mooresville, David Ervin (Robin) of Asheville and Paul Ervin (Paula) of Kannapolis. He is also survived by 4 great-nephews and 3 great-nieces as well as other loving relatives.
