He was predeceased by: his parents, Elma Kearns and Clifford Kearns. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Moore Kearns; his children, Jeff Kearns (Darrell) and Janie Pless; his grandchildren, Brooke Abuoelezz (Ahmed) and Dalton Pless; his great grandchild Kamel Abuoelezz; his family Sister Peggy Lucas (Walt); and his sister-in-law Jackie Samuels (Bob). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their spouses and children.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County in his memory.
