He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Smith and Aggerline Smith; and his siblings, Paul Smith, Barbara Boyd and Tony Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Smith; his children, Tasha Hawkins, Miata Samuels and Ashley Samuels; his grandchildren, Miladie Vinson, Markisha Peters, Mark Peters, Emoni Jarvis and Ra'Jon Charles; his siblings, Betty Smith, Bobby Smith (Linda), Jerry (Brenda), Frances Wright and Althea Brown; and his close friend Derrick.
A memorial gathering was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Life Celebration Cremations and Burials (121 Georgia St SW, Concord, NC 28025).
