Salvador Cawa Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Salvador Cawa of Concord, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Cawa and Nieves Cawa; and his siblings, Ben Cawa, Nena Torres, Nick Cawa, Francisco Cawa and Delia Paggao.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Lynn; his wife Linda Cawa; his children, Darryl Whitson, Sam, Maureen Cawa, Angie Cawa and Michael King; his grandchild Whitman Groves (Anne Peale); his children, Ashley Cawa, Alex Groves (Summer), Reese Schiff (Shelby) and Lindsay Macek (Josh); and his great grandchildren, Gideon Schiff, Mila Schiff and Parker Macek.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. James the Greater Catholic Church (139 Manor Ave SW, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. Although Sal's quality of life deteriorated after a long battle with Covid in 2020, he lived a happy and full life until he was called home to be with the Lord.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to The Knights of Columbus Council 7450 at St. James the Greater Catholic Church 139 Manor Ave SW Concord, NC 28025.
